A 28 year-old entrepreneur from Malaysia has got a place under the Forbes 30 under 30 for the achievements for developing a non-toxic skincare line for children by her. Co-Founder of Evereden, Kimberley Ho, based in the US, was listed under the retail and ecommerce category for annual list of 30 under 30 of 2019 edition of Forbes.
Forbes said that Ho had been working on the Wall Street as a consumer brands investor as she felt the need for natural products that are safe for children specially. The business magazine of America also stated that the 28-year-old, after feeling the need for safe products, started to fill the gap in the market with Evereden from the month of March this year. Ho, who is also an immigrant from Malaysia, has increased more than US$2 mil after the launch of her products in March 2018. In fact, all her products have received great compliments from Vogue, Bobbi Brown, and others. From an interview with Forbes by Kimberley Ho, it can be known that she moved to the United States at the age of 18 when she was studying economics at Stanford University. After completing her graduation, she worked for an investment banking firm, Goldman Sachs before becoming an investor at the investment management firm Oaktree Capital.
From the business magazine it can also be known that she used to buy baby products for her friends at the US and came to realize that the ingredients that are used to make products for babies were not safe as they claimed to be. In fact, the products were also not from the US as well. She then decided to quit the job and started a business venture along with her husband that made products only for babies that are natural and safe for them.
