An auditing and consulting firm will be engaged by PKR for looking into the claims that have been made against the missing votes in the party polls that concluded recently. Fahmi Fadzil, PKR communication director stated that the political bureau have already been instructed about the engagement of an audit firm, Baker Tilly, for finding out the reasons for the missing votes during the voting process and to look into the claims that have been brought up by Akmal Nasir, who is a hopeful candidate for the post of chief.
The party will also announce the appointment of an auditing firm in the coming future so that they can conduct an independent audit of the entire voting process of the election for the post of the deputy president of the PKR party.
Fahmi added to the statement made by him earlier that the party will continue to provide the full support to any of the enforcement agency that includes the Royal Malaysian Police, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission. They have been given the responsibility to conduct the investigations that are related to the voting polls of the party. He also urged on the central election committee of the party to resolve the issues as soon as possible regarding the missing majorly votes of the states, Julau, Tawau, and Pensiangan. Two of the representatives have also been called for the observation of the process.
