Mohamed Azmin Ali from PKR has called for fair election with the second phase of the party polls starting today in Selangor where the members who are associated is going to choose in between Rafizi Ramli and him for the post of the deputy president. He has said that PKR needs to pay attention to the public perception as this has been a great reform.
He remarked on PKR polling that they are going to reject the dirty politics, abuse of power, and money politics. Over 83,000 party members at 7 out of 22 divisions in this state are known to be eligible to vote.
Some complaints have been heard about money politics during the election of the party where the members are going to vote with the help of e-voting system. The official result show that Azmin, the economic affairs ministers is leading in Selangor in the 1st phase of the election even though Rafizi have claimed an upper hand in many states.
Amzin says that he hopes the members of Gombak have considered to the fort is going to vote on the basis of the work of the leaders. If this process is carried out in a fair manner, Azmin believes that the support of the confident members is going to be translated into a big majority he said as he was asked about the chance of winning.
The 7 divisions voting today at Gombak, Puchong, Petaling Jaya Selatan, Petaling Jaya Utara, Selayang, Kuala Langat, and Klang. Melaka PKR has stated that they have detected at least one case of money politics during the time of the poll. Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, the state PKR chairman have said that the case have taken place at Tangga Batu branch. They have added that the candidates have added RM50 notes to the members in exchange for the votes.
