Predictions are intensifying that ex-minister Salleh Said Keruak and ex-Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia are all set to join PKR.
United Sabah National Organization Information Chief, Musli Oli informed that both the members are a part of the various eminent political leaders from Bajau community who are expected to take the step, in what is speculated to be another gigantic crossover by ex- Barisan Nasional leaders under the guidance of exodus from Sabah Umno later last year.
Musli mentioned that their decision to be a part of PKR was because of the party’s stronghold in the federal government clarifying that PKR is believed to have more influence as compared to PPBM.
Pandikar is among the ones who joined USNO in May after exiting from UMNO during last year’s December along with numerous others.
Pandikar and Salleh along with a lot of others are expected to file for PKR membership applications following the Malaysia Day celebrations on September 16.
Pandikar and Salleh are currently a part of USBO, the association responsible for taking care of the welfare of the Bajau community, specifically those situated towards the west coast of Sabah.
