SEREMBAN: Due to the very unhealthy level of Air Pollutant Index, all schools in Port Dickson have been ordered to close.
According to State education, entrepreneurship, industrialisation, investment and human capital committee chairman Dr Mohamad Rafie Abd Malek, the API reading in the district at 6am was 203.
In Port Dickson, there are 50 primary and 15 secondary schools.
“We have asked the schools to close due to this. They would continue to monitor the haze situation and provide updates from time to time, he added.
