Malaysia has created history by winning boy’s hockey gold in Argentina’s Buenos Aires, Youth Olympic Games. Wallace tan, the National Coach has said that Malaysia has managed to defeat India 4-2 in the finals on Sunday at Parque Polideportivo Roca Stadium.  As a matter of fact, this is the first that the Malaysian hockey team has qualified for the 5-side tournament in Youth Olympic Games.

The hero of Malaysia was Muhd Akhimullah Anuar Esook who had scored two goals in 14th and 19th minutes. Mohd Firdaus Rosdi and Amirul Hamizan Azahar, the skipper has managed to deliver other goals for Malaysia.  Both of the goals scored by India were by Vivek Prasad, the captain in the 3rd and 6th minutes.

Muhd Akhimullah, the 18-year old player was he top scorer for the hockey tournament having 22 goals. He was completely thrilled with his efforts. He said that they have created history just by upsetting India in finals for winning the 1st Youth Olympic Hames gold
