This year’s Sabah Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair might witness an increase in the number of exhibitors with 115 booths to be opened, which would be offering more exhilarating travel deals to the people.
The Malaysia’s largest countrywide consumers’ travel fair would be held from 10-12th May at the International Technology and Commercial Centre (ITCC) in Penampang.
Datuk Christina Liew, Deputy Chief Minister as well as the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment of Sabah is likely to inaugurate the fair.
Alicia Gomes, Sabah MATTA honorary secretary and organizing chairperson in a statement stated that the three-day fair would be looking forward towards the involvement of travel agents and hoteliers from Sabah, Sarawak, Peninsular Malaysia, as well as from other nations. She even stated that last year’s fair comprised of 102 booths. She added that the National Tourism Organizations (NTO) affirmed that participation would involve even those from Macao and Indonesia, to name a few.
Gomes stated that Sabah MATTA believes that the partnership and support from sponsors, exhibitors, and State and National Tourism Organizations would bring considerable success to the fair and would continue to donate towards the growth of domestic and inbound tourism in our nation.
