A senior PKR leaders calls for a revamp to one-member one-vote system even though the party headquarter believe that there is no need to organize fresh polls which are to be held in the troubled states. Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, PKR secretary-general have said that the election committee of the party is still probing the technical glitches in the times of voting in Melaka and also Negeri Sembilan only last week.
There isn’t any timeframe for completing probe. They aren’t anywhere close to cancelling the election and then organizing a new one. He said that they are in touch with the programmers and also the IT technicians who are working in order to identify the issue. The technical problem is known to have arisen when the vote count couldn’t be entered into this system irrespective of the PKR members having recorded the choices in the e-voting system. The party election committee will decide on the matter and is going to advise them on the topics.
