Datuk Rashid Din, PKR central election committee chairman stated that the lead have already been taken by Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, but he is yet to be declared as the winner for the race for the post of PKR deputy president. Rashid said he has maintained his lead, but he is yet to win the election.
It was also mentioned by him that the tallying process for the votes for the election is still pending because thousands of vote that were doubtful has not been included. The declaration of the winner is also being delayed because the results of three divisions have not also being declared till now.
After the results of Tawau, Julau, and Pensiangan come out, it will be easier for them to declare the winner of the post for the PKR party. But it can be clearly stated that Azmin is ahead in the election for the post of deputy president for PKR party. Some of the important announcements about the election procedure were made by the chairman of the PKR central election committee at the camp set up by the leading person, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali. Only six of the states in Malaysia have the full results regarding the vote and they are as follows: Johor, Penang, Pahang, Kelantan, Terrengganu, and Federal Territories.
The chairman of the central election committee of PKR party also mentioned that the tallying process for the election for the post of deputy president that are remaining in several states will be complete recently.
