KUALA LUMPUR – Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has made it clear that he will not be stepping down until he has resolved Malaysia’s problem.
The Pakatan Harapan government is giving top priority on the promise of fighting corruption. For instance, recovering the billions lost through 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) and finding fugitive businessman Jho Low and others involved.
“The right time (to step down) depends on the problems that we face,” he said. The prime minister also reiterated that for the moment he considered himself as the only person suited to the challenge the country’s current problem.
