Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, will be visiting Malaysia officially from 20th November. It is also his first visit to the country after he assumed his post in the month of August of the current year. He is also expected to have a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad for reviewing the existing cooperation and relations with each other and also to identify new and fresh areas so that they can go into collaborations in the near future.
According to the words of the Foreign Ministry of Malaysia, the main highlight of his visit is on the significance and importance that Malaysia attaches to the relationship which the country has with Pakistan. He added the bilateral meeting between the representatives of both the countries will be a great opportunity for them to exchange views on a range of regional and global issues that have common interests.
The signing of an agreement will also be witnessed by the Prime Ministers of both the countries which are on the partial abolition of visa between their governments. Pakistan and Malaysia currently enjoy long-standing
and substantial bilateral relations in the spheres of tourism, defense cooperation, education, and technical assistance.
