Redmi is setting it’s name internationally and no wonder that people are excited for the launch of their new products. In fact, next week will be an exciting week for buyers of mid range smartphones. Xiaomi Malaysia has announced that it will launch the latest Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro on 11 May 2020.
The case comes just hours after the online launch event of the Realme 6 Pro.
The Redmi Note 9 series event takes place on Monday 11 May 2020 at 2 pm and you can catch the live stream on the Facebook account of Xiaomi Malaysia. During the live announcement we expect Xiaomi to reveal its local pricing, availability and first-day selling deals.
The Redmi Note 9 is the series’ smallest and least affordable choice. It comes with a full HD+ IPS display of 6.53??, and runs on a MediaTek Helio G85 cpu. Up to 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage can be added to the computer.
It packs a rear quad camera system consisting of a 48MP primary camera, an ultra-wide-angle 8MP lens, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP deep-sensor.
Meanwhile, in the top left corner of the frame, the front gets a 13MP selfie shooter that sits within a punch-hole. The Redmi Note 9 only uses a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as opposed to a side-mounted model as opposed to its more costly siblings.
While being a smaller-screen unit, it still gets a big 5,020mAh battery that supports fast 18W charging via USB-C.
The smartphone comes with a 22.5W fast charging battery block, which is identical to the Redmi Note 9S. A 3.5 mm headphone jack and an infrared blaster are also included.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro is essentially an improved version of the Redmi Note 9S. Even the latest Tropical Green paint design with a dual-tone coating reveals the greatest exterior distinction.
Most features are the same as the 9S, featuring a common 6.67?? Full HD+ monitor and operating on a Qualcomm 720 G system. This also offers up to 6 GB of RAM, and capacity up to 128 GB.
This also comes over at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor, an improvement from the 48MP shooter of the 9S.
The other sensors remain unchanged with an ultra-wide-angle 8MP lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP sensor for depth. The front camera is a 16MP in-display photographer for selfies only.
Although it maintains the same big battery capacity of 5.020mAh, the Redmi Note 9 Pro supports a higher 30W fast charging via USB-C. Interestingly, Xiaomi packages a higher-rated fast-charging 33W brick inside the package.
Another recent feature is that NFC is sponsored by the Redmi Note 9 Pro and it still carries a headphone jack and an IR cannon.
This is a new series of products we can’t wait to purchase.
