United Arab Emirates invited the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad for undertaking an official visit at the country. A letter was written to Malaysian PM, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad which mentioned a few words regarding the invitation from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
It was handed over to him by Sheikh Hamed Zayed Al Nahyan who is the chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, and he called on Dr. Mahathir Mohamad at his office in Perdana Putra.
Several issues on their bilateral relations were discussed in the meeting which was held between the leaders. It is known that the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court is an independent entity and it enjoys the legal status as a government body wholly. The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court or the CPC is managed by its chief who is also the representative of the entity during official visits, historical occasions, and various events. He also assumes the ceremonial representation of the Court when it is required to interact with different local as well as international officials and even public figures.
The meeting was also attended by Tommy Thomas, the Attorney General of UAE and Khalid Al Ghaith, the UAE Ambassador to Malaysia.
